Who is Eligible?
Our Welcome Program is designed to broaden access to our educational offerings for EBT or WIC card holders residing in North and South Carolina.

How Much are Tickets?
For just $3 per person at Discovery Place Science and both Discovery Place Kids, you and up to 5 additional guests can experience our museums.

How Do I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets can be pre-purchased online by clicking the button above or bought upon arrival.

Do I Need an ID?
Yes, you must bring a North or South Carolina state-issued photo ID with you when you visit the museum. Only residents of these states are eligible, and we cannot make exceptions. Proof of current and active EBT or WIC benefits is required. 

When Can I Visit?
Feel free to visit any time! Our Welcome Program is not restricted to specific days or times. Visit during any of our operational hours.

Which Museums Are Included
The discount applies to Discovery Place Science and both Discovery Place Kids locations. Please note, It does not include upcharge experiences like IMAX films.

Is Parking Discounted as Part of the Discount?
Parking is free a both Discovery Place Kids locations. At Discovery Place Science, parking is discounted to $8 daily through the Welcome Program. Please bring your parking deck ticket to the Admissions desk inside the museum so that we can apply the discount.

Can I Share My Benefits?
No, your EBT or WIC card and matching state-issued photo ID must be presented at Admissions for your own use.
